i too stop for a drink of water to refresh my weary soul! Let my soul be at rest again, for the LORD has been good to me. ~ Psalm 116:7. Photo: My nephew's chickens - Nassau Bahamas

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the
peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid". - John 14:27 Photo: White Ibis Taken at: Mount Trashmore Park Virginia Beach, Virginia I spotted this different looking duck recently on one of my "I love creation" walks. I immediately emailed my birding partners its photo to help with identification. “Looks like a Mallard duck mixed with some domestic variation”, one said. Another, “a possible crossbreed between a domestic and Mallard duck”. Still another, “not a true Mallard as a true Mallard would have feathers that curl just above the tail feathers”. Even without a definite identification, I still felt its beauty deserved being displayed. Reminder: we too are each different, with varying qualities, each intricately and beautifully created, identified as valuable to, and by our Loving Heavenly Father. You are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows. – Matthew 10:31 Heavenly Father, help me to identify the difference in each person that crosses my path today, knowing that we are Your beautiful, and valuable creation, Amen. |
