O Lord my God, I will give You thanks forever! – Psalm 30:12 NLT Photo: Veggie Collage Taken at: Farmers Market, Virginia Beach, Virginia Courtesy of: Skipper Farms Chesapeake & Virginia Beach Previously shared with: GraceInside
In certain situations, trust is needed above every other aspect of Scripture. Who can understand the passing of a loved one, especially a mother? Am I alone in these devastating feelings of separation? At this point, I have nothing else to hold on or to trust, but the eternal Word of the Living God. Here are a few of the Scriptures that are helping me as I go through the grieving process.:
Be still and know that I am God.1 For you Lord have helped me and comforted me. 2 Sustain me O God, according to Your promise.3 If I had not found encouragement in Your law, I would have died in my sorrow.4 Cast your cares on the Lord. He will sustain you and He will never let the righteous be shaken.5
Have you been through troubling situations? Have words from the Holy Scripture also been your help?
